There are several kinds of information about candidates provided through our website.

1) The pages prepared by Oregon 912 Project are reports based upon research of the cadidates voting record, publicly reported political activities and their campaign contributions, etc.  They may also contain information such as statments from their own campaign literature or websites.

The Oregon 912 Project is a non-partisan organization.  We do not endorse any political candidates.  The purpose of these reports is to provide educational material for the electorate to make their own determination as to the best candidate for political office.

These were undertaken by, and represent the work of volunteers, which may not necessarily be members of, nor represent the views of The Oregon 912 Project or it's Board Members.  These reports are a compendium of material from various websites.  As we are relying on the source website - the accuracy is not guaranteed.  Please follow any hyperlinks and if you feel there are any questionable or erroneous items, investigate with the source website.  Please bring this to our attention, so that we may make corrections, when necessary.

2) Since we do not endorse Candidates, we do suggest you join ICaucus.org as they research and do endorse conservative candidates based upon several levels.  For more information see: iCaucus-Oregon  They have 3 oregon candidates so far who are currently vetted! The link will take you to their information. We encourage candidates to go through the process so that the people can learn more about them via an objective 3rd party who treats all candidates equally through the process.

3) The pages prepared by the Abigail Adams Project are done through a volunteer effort of local citizens to contact candidates and ask them to complete a questionare and are only based upon the cadidates responses to the questionnaire containing questions on issues. The guide cannot guarantee a candidate will or may change their position once elected.

4) Lastly, we have a forum called Candidates Speak. This is where we invite them to post information about their campaign. Announce events, town halls, rallies and canvassing opportunities.  Allowing them to post does not constitute any endorsement. We do however encourage our members to research and measure candidates against the constitutional measuring stick and the 9 principles and 12 values which the 9-12 project is founded.
