Call me crazy but the email I got today on this topic makes me uneasy.
First, I can only believe that the use of the type of inflammatory language used in this email title only projects an image of the 9-12 organization that only supports the progressive assertion that the tea party groups are angry, right wing extremists.
Second, I work 12 or more hours a day. I try to keep up with events but focus mostly on national news. The content of this email did not inform me of any of the issues mentiioned. I thought the purpose of 9-12 was to educate and inform.
Third, The content of this email is mostly a list of assertions and accusations. I can get that kind of content from listening to KPOJ or Fox news. How about including some facts or at least links to source articles?
I joined 9-12 in order to try to help inform myself. A place to get an understanding of the issues of the day. I am not seeing that and I am uneasy with what I have seen in this email and the two meetings I have attended so far.
