I will have to share my ignorance about using these forums and stuff.You had said we need to try out the email. Is this it? Where's the email?

Ok here's the process. When you post a message on the forum, after it posts, there is a 'subscribe' button that appears, so you can follow the responses to the thread. These are sent to you via email, once you get a message via email, you can simply reply like it was an email list and the forum keeps updating the posts.
The other part of 'email' is the Alerts and Newsletter functions. These are created online, but sent to all who are subscribed on those. Everyone, is by default on those, but they may also unsubscribe if they choose.
I just spent today resolving the Forum "Access Denied" problem, and my reply here is the fruit of that being accomplished today.
Carla, this is the FORUM, and once we get the site working fully, these messages will be deleted....
I'm still working onthe mail list, I'm setting up the board list, and the discussion lists. The newsletter and Alerts are already set up so we will also test those, but I'm also waiting for more of the board to get registered before those can be fully tested...
I just learned tonight that we had set up the discussion list wrong, and so that is being changed right now.
WHAT is really cool is that you can create BLOG posts, those are different than the FORUM. We will try to keep the forum for INFORMATION, DIRECTIONS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, RESOURCES, ETC. Basically the forum is for 'keepers'
