There are many potential scenarios for preservation, but the Elks' board has said the quickest and easiest way to do so is to simply increase membership.  It's that simple.

The Oregon chapter of the American Meteorological Society will host a gathering in which regional weather experts will discuss the question of whether science supports the view that humans are to blame for global warming.

Guest speakers are George Taylor (former state climatologist), Chuck Wiese (meteorologist) and Gordon Fulks (physicist).

They will talk about what they see as problems with the theory of human-caused climate change, and will also present climate forecasts for the next decade, century and beyond.

At the conclusion of the meeting, there will be a public question-and-answer session.

This meeting is Free and open to the general public. Media is also welcome.
