THOSE WHO RESPONDED TO OUR FIRST REQUEST TO UPDATE YOUR 912 ACCOUNT: The account information fields have been redone to make them more user friendly. In resetting the system, your recent updates were lost. We humbly request that you update your account once again. See the step by step instructions below.

IF YOU HAVEN’T UPDATED YOUR 912 ACCOUNT INFORMATION: We are asking everyone who wants to be an active participant in the effort to successfully replace as many Oregon federal and state legislators in November to please update their account ASAP.

EVERYONE: Our webmaster will be out of town June 26-July 4^th. It is imperative to get as many members tagged and sorted before she leaves so we can move to the next step of setting up targeted communication networks.

ACCOUNT UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:

          1 – Log in at our website: www.oregon912project.org

          2 – Click on “My Account” (at the top right)

          3 – Click on the “Edit” Tab

 There are two key pages that need to be updated.

          1 – “Personal Information” – We need you to provide your County, State Senate District, State Representative District, and your Precinct number. For each of the three latter, there is a link to a separate window where you can find your information and then enter it.

          2- “Name and Address” – the minimal requirement on this page is your Zip Code. Your Phone Number (though not required) is important so you can receive phone reminders of meetings and action alerts. If you complete your address, you will have access to your Congress tab with your Federal Legislators and their contact information.

PLEASE BE ASSURED: NONE OF YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AND IS VIEWABLE ONLY BY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE WEBSITE.

WHAT COMES NEXT:  We will use this information to facilitate the formation of 912 Community Clusters. Ideally, each cluster would assign one or more people to be Watch Dogs over each of the governmental entities in their area. In addition, it will enable us to inform members when there is a specific need in your area such as canvassing for your chosen candidates, making phone calls, holding candidate coffees.
